# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - In a large frying pan, brown and crumble the ground beef along with the diced onion. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Drain excess grease and set aside.
02 - Using the same pan, fry the bacon for approximately 5 minutes per side until halfway cooked. Season with salt and pepper, then transfer bacon to paper towels to remove excess grease.
03 - In a 9x13 inch aluminum baking pan, layer half of the cooked ground beef evenly across the bottom. Spread one can of baked beans over the beef. Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded mozzarella on top, then arrange half of the partially cooked bacon slices over the cheese.
04 - Repeat the layering sequence with the remaining ground beef, baked beans, mozzarella cheese, and bacon to complete the casserole.
05 - Cover the assembled pan with aluminum foil and bake on a preheated grill at 350°F (177°C) for about 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and the casserole is bubbling.

# Extra Tips:

01 - This casserole can alternatively be baked in a conventional oven preheated to 350°F (177°C) for 30 minutes.
