Set the oven temperature to 350°F (177°C) to prepare for baking.

In a large bowl, mix ground beef, dry stuffing mix, eggs, water, and half of the ketchup until just combined without overmixing.

Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan or form a loaf shape by hand on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Evenly spread the remaining ketchup, BBQ sauce, or chili sauce over the top of the shaped meatloaf.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving to retain moisture.
