12 - 1 cup hot coffee

13 - 4 oz good quality milk chocolate, very finely chopped
14 - 4 oz good quality dark chocolate, very finely chopped
15 - 1 cup thickened cream (heavy cream)
16 - 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
17 - Pinch of fine sea salt

→ Cream Cheese Filling

18 - 8 oz cream cheese
19 - 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
20 - 1 cup icing sugar
21 - 1/2 cup fresh passionfruit pulp

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Place very finely chopped milk and dark chocolate in a medium bowl. Heat cream and vanilla to a simmer and pour over chocolate. Let sit for 10 minutes, then whisk until smooth.
02 - Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and line two 8-inch (20 cm) round cake tins with baking paper.
03 - In a large bowl, whisk together buttermilk, olive oil, vanilla, eggs, brown sugar, and caster sugar until combined.
04 - Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and hot coffee to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
05 - Divide batter evenly between the two prepared tins and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow cakes to cool completely.
06 - Beat cream cheese and vanilla until smooth. Add icing sugar and passionfruit pulp and mix until well combined.
07 - Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Evenly spread cream cheese filling on top and spoon remaining passionfruit pulp over it. Gently place second cake layer on top.
