Grease or spray cupcake pans generously and set aside.

In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine marshmallows and butter. Heat for 2 minutes, stirring to achieve a smooth, melted mixture.

Add Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture and stir until fully coated.

While warm, spoon mixture into cupcake molds and press the center with wax paper to form nest shapes. Allow to cool and firm for at least 30 minutes.

In a mixing bowl, beat butter, milk, vanilla, and 2 cups powdered sugar for 5 minutes until creamy. Add remaining powdered sugar and green food coloring, mixing until desired consistency and color are achieved.

Carefully remove nests from pans. Pipe green buttercream inside each nest to resemble grass, then top with mini eggs or jelly beans.

Allow the buttercream to set slightly before serving.
