01 -
In a large bowl, gently combine the ground beef, minced onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and eggs until just mixed.
02 -
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a rectangle slightly larger than 6 connected dinner rolls. Place on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with additional minced onion.
03 -
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 12 minutes, checking for doneness without overcooking.
04 -
While the meat bakes, split the dinner rolls horizontally to create tops and bottoms, keeping the sets of six connected.
05 -
Spread about 2 tablespoons of Thousand Island dressing across each bottom half of the rolls.
06 -
Once the meat is cooked, blot excess grease with a paper towel. Place the cooked patties on the roll bottoms and spread more dressing on top of the meat.
07 -
Top each patty evenly with slices of American cheese. Return to the oven for 1–2 minutes until the cheese melts.
08 -
Layer the minced onion, pickle slices, and shredded lettuce over the melted cheese.
09 -
Cover with roll tops. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Slice into 12 individual mini burgers and serve.
